Arduino eggs incubator
Aug 07th, 2019 | by: Philip SerefoglouCategory: Electronics Basic Circuits

This will be a homemade egg incubator based on arduino. It's still in prototyping mode under heavy development.
There would be an LCD panel and a beeper for visual and audio warnings.
A DC motor with an L298N driver for the turning capabilities, a DHT-22 for temperature and humidity readings.
A dual relay will handle 2 AC bulbs that would provide heat. Arduino will handle the intervals for the egg turning and temperature control.
The hole assembly is based on two stacked styrofoam boxes and a wooden tray with aluminum separators.
The tray is driven by a 12V DC motor with reduction gears at 0.8 RPMs. Two terminal switches will be responsible for signaling the end of the tray movement.
