Hi,

I want to make a PID controlled heater with a k type thermocoupler just like in Electronoob's tutorial.

I'm now in the phase of gathering the components but I don't know which bridge rectifier to use. In the youtube video he uses a KBPC1010 but the link provided on the  parts list refers to a KBL406. So is the KBL406 an improvement over the KBPC1010 or is the link faulty?

I will be using the heating element of an old coffee machine, the coils work on 220V. So I suppose both rectifiers will suffice?
