I'm developing a remote control, which uses an Atmega328 and runs on 2 CR2040 batteries. The design is simple and functional. Uses an SRX882 transmitter to transmit the signal.

The problem I have is that when the antenna is close to an object or touch the antena the signal stops transmitting. Touching it is not the problem, but the fact that when I put it in the case I designed, the signal is not sent

This is the second version of the remote control, I don't understand about the necessary calculations for the PCB antennas, the first time I designed it I tried to create an antenna on the PCB that didn't work either, after an external adaptation that I made it worked so I decided to redesign the PCB to behave the externas antenna in the same size of PCB.

I would like to know if you can help me, since I found a recent project of yours which is the light switch that runs at 433mhz. how did you calculate the size of the antenna and know it would work? I'm thinking of redesigning the pcb and wiring diagram once more to use the same components that you used directly on your pcb. But my project runs at 3.3v!

attachment 1 is the first version of the PCB, which did not work. attachment 2 is the second version of the PCB, which works with the external antenna but unfortunately stops when it is close to an object.

this is the version 1 design of the pcb that didn't work, I don't know if it's because of the lack of impedance of 50ohms on the track, if the track that connects the antenna to the transmitter module was too big. But it didn't work at all. So I designed version 2 to use with the external antenna, but it stops sending the signal when any object is close to it
